These leading courses from Dr. David Frawley (one of the world's foremost Vedic Teachers) are amongst the most in-depth available, as well as amongst the most reasonably priced. On successful completion you will receive certification from him as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counsellor or an Ayurvedic Astrologer. In the Czech Republic you will have the added benefit of guidance and class-room teaching from Vedic Teacher (Vedakovid) Pavan Kanwar from India.
The courses mainly consist of 4 course books (650 pages) for Ayurveda and 3 course books (600 pages) for Astrology in English for guided home-study. This requires some knowledge of English, but translation support in Czech may be possible for the seminars, questions and exams below.
The courses include four seminars/classes (at our Centre in Prague East) held typically on a Saturday every other month for Ayurveda, and similarly three seminars/classes for Astrology.
There is the freedom to ask general questions on the course material via email for additional interaction.
Each course book has a required exam.
There is the possibility of the extra option to submit study questions via email for every lesson (>40 for Ayurveda and >30 for Astrology) for comments.
The courses give 300 hours of credit for Ayurveda and 200 hours of credit for Astrology, and they can usually be completed in less than a year with regular weekly study. There is no minimum time limit, but there is a maximum time limit of 2 years. There are no specific pre-requisites, but some knowledge of Ayurveda or Vedic Astrology would be helpful.
